Mechanical terrestrial globe with the two following cartouches :
- « dédié au Roy par son très humble très obéissant serviteur et fidel sujet Desnos monté par l’auteur »
- « globe terrestre dressé sur les relations les plus nouvelles de Mrs de l’Académie Royale des Sciences par L.C. Desnos qui a fait usage des Découvertes et les voyages du célèbre Cape Cook autour du monde. Se fait et Vend chez Desnos St Jacque St Severin Quartier de la Place Maubert à Paris 1782. Avec privilège du Roy ».
