Brass proportional compass by Michel Coignet made c. 1600/1610

Brass proportional compass with iron spikes with 2 mobile arms forming a square, polygon scales. Each face is engraved with a scale: one marked "C" and the other "L". The inner hinge and the rivets are made of copper.
