In paper with brass meridians and very rare ivory feet.

Signed « A New Globe of the Earth by N. Lane 1776”.

Nota : we know only one 18th century miniature pair of globes with ivory feet (private collection) signed by Nathaniel Hill dated 1754. Reference « The World In Your Hands – An exhibition of Globes and Planetaria » 1994/1995 – page 73.
