Large reduction compass in brass and steel signed "Cadot in Paris 1738".

The instrument consists of two pivoting arms at the level of an adjustable axis allowing the reduction ratio to be adjusted using a scale graduated from 1 to 12.

Central steel screw in the shape of a volute.

Each ends have a tip, the smaller ones are screwed.

Dimension : length of 27.6 cm.

Paris dated 1738.
